PM cannot be under the Lokpal: NCP

New Delhi: NCP leader Supriya Sule on Tuesday said unless there are election reforms, political corruption will never be eradicated.

While participating in the Lokpal debate, she appreciated government's effort to bring in Lokpal Bill.

"The commitment that the government has shown is what has we have missed in this debate. I agree with the Shiv Sena openly that my Prime Minister cannot be under any Lokpal," the NCP MP said.

"The Lokpal is an healthy baby, but do you want it to be an obese baby? Let's try and get this Lokpal across. We can review it every six months or every year," she said.
