The Congress has already been facing flak for Rahul going on leave right before the crucial Budget session of Parliament.

New Delhi: With Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on leave for over a month, he is likely to be back in the national capital after April 10, said sources on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the missing MP posters have been put up in his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh which were removed by Congress workers.

The Congress has already been facing flak for Rahul going on leave right before the crucial Budget session of Parliament. Rahul had gone on a sabbatical to reflect upon "recent events" and the future course of the party.

Senior party leader Salman Khurshid defended Rahul saying he is the commander of the team and determined to lift the party.

He said, "Why not? Why must Rahul Gandhi do everything according to a script that is written either by the Opposition or by the media? I think what he is doing is fantastic. He is the commander of the team. He has tabs on everything we are doing. He has got eyes and ears. He is determined to lift the party."
