Trinamool lacks political courtesy, says Congress
The Congress on Monday said that the Mamata Banerjee's party has no right to criticise them.

Kolkata: Accusing Trinamool Congress of displaying "lack of political courtesy" towards the new central ministers from West Bengal, the Congress on Monday said that the Mamata Banerjee's party has no right to criticise them. "We expected a minimum courtesy from them. But they have displayed a total lack of political courtesy," Congress leader Manas Bhuniya said.

Trinamool leader and state Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee had termed as "unconstitutional" the reshuffle in the union ministry and alleged that the sole motive for including three ministers from the state was to "disturb" his party.

"Those who severed ties with us at the centre and ignored the wishes of the state's people that the two parties remain together, have no right to criticise us," Bhuniya said.

"I am surprised that such remarks are being made by senior Trinamool leaders," he said. Bhuniya also brushed aside allegations that Bengal has been discriminated against by not inducting a single cabinet minister from the state.
