Allu Arjun’s cousin, Viran Muttamsetty, is set to make his silver screen debut with the film Mukhya Gamanika, directed by cinematographer-turned-director Venu Muralidhar V. The first song of the movie, titled Aa Kannula Chupullona, was unveiled at a song launch event on December 25. Composed by Kiran Venna, the song is sung by Nakash Aziz and Revati Srita. The music launch event, held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad, had renowned director Bobby Kolli as the chief guest.
During the event, music director Kiran expressed gratitude to director Bobby Kolli for launching the first lyrical song and thanked Venu Muralidhar V for his guidance in the music composition. He urged the audience and fans to listen to the song and appreciated the producers, Sai Krishna and Rajasekhar, for the opportunity. The film is jointly produced under the banner of Sivin Productions.
Actor Viran Muttamsetty shared an interesting anecdote, recalling his first meeting with Bobby Kolli in 2016 during the birth of Allu Arjun’s baby. He mentioned calling the director recently to inform him about the song launch event, to which Bobby Kolli responded promptly with, “Where and what time." Viran praised the director’s kind and giving nature, describing him as a rare breed. He acknowledged Bobby Kolli, who directed a 200 crore film and is currently working on a project with Balayya Babu, for taking time out of his busy schedule. Viran expressed deep gratitude for the director’s support, emphasising that he would never forget it.
Producer Rajasekhar announced that the movie will feature two songs, to be released soon. Director Venu Muralidhar provided an update on the film, stating that the shooting has been completed, and the project is currently in the post-production stage. Viran Muttamsetty, initially slated to debut with the film Brathuku Bustand, which unfortunately did not materialize, is now gearing up for his first big-screen appearance in Mukhya Gamanika.
