The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched its new 6-inch bezel-less smartphone Oppo F5 Young. The new device Oppo F5 Young features an 18:9 display and looks alike to the Oppo F5 smartphone in relations of the design but there is some difference in terms of their specifications. As for its specifications, the Oppo F5 Young features a 6-inch display which features 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat based on Oppo’s preparatory ColorOS 3.2 and is backed by a 3200mAh battery. In terms of security, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back panel just below the camera.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of native storage which can be expanded further via a microSD card (up to 256GB). In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, while there is a 16-megapixel front facing the camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity front, the device support dual sim, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. The smartphone has been announced in the Philippines for a price of PHP 13,990 (approx Rs 17,800).
Earlier this month Oppo had launched its bezel-less smartphone Oppo 5F in India. In terms of specifications, the Oppo F5 sports a 6-inch Full-HD+ TFT display with 1080x2160 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MT6763T MediaTek SoC and comes with expandable storage support of up to 256GB. The Oppo F5 runs Oppo’s own ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It draws its juice from a 3200 mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like dual nano-SIM, 4G VoLTE support, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and USB OTG support.
