The Intel-based RedmiBook Pro laptops come in multiple storage options and CPU + GPU configurations. Notably, the laptops are available in China, and the company is yet to share their global availability details.

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched two premium laptop models, RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 that feature the latest 11th-generation Intel Core processors. In terms of the design, the notebooks look similar to the existing RedmiBook series that itself is inspired by Apple’s MacBook lineup. Alongside new laptops, the Xiaomi sub-brand has also launched the new Redmi K40 series with Snapdragon 888 SoC and Redmi AirDots 3 earbuds that succeed the Redmi AirDots 2 from last year.

The Intel-based RedmiBook Pro laptops, which have metal cases and are Wi-Fi 6 capable, come in multiple storage options and CPU + GPU configurations. Notably, the laptops are available in China, and the company is yet to share their global availability details. The RedmiBook Pro 14 price in China starts at CNY 4,699 (approx Rs 53,000) for the Intel Core i5 + Intel Xe graphics variant – but customers can get it with an introductory price of CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 50,800). The laptop’s Intel Core i5 + Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU option carries a price tag of CNY 5,299 (approx Rs 59,800), while the Intel Core i7 + Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics model costs CNY 5,999 (approx Rs 67,600).

In terms of features, the RedmiBook Pro 14 sports a 14-inch display with 2.5K resolution (2,560×1,600 pixels) and an 88.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Windows 10 Home out-of-the-box with Xiaomi’s proprietary XiaoAi AI assistant and MIUI Plus software to connect Xiaomi-made smartphone with the laptop. Under the hood, RedmiBook Pro 14 packs up to 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, coupled with up to Nvidia GeForce MX450 (2GB GDDR5) graphics and up to 16GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM. There is also 512GB of PCIe SSD storage as standard. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, an integrated fingerprint sensor, and a full-size three colours backlit keyboard. In terms of ports, the RedmiBook Pro 14 includes Thunderbolt 4, USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI.

On the other hand, the RedmiBook Pro 15’s price starts at CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 56,500) for the Intel Core i5 + Intel Xe graphics variant. The Intel Core i5 + Nvidia GeForce MX450 and Intel Core i7 + Nvidia GeForce MX450 models come with a price tag of CNY 5,499 (approx Rs 62,000) and CNY 6,299 (approx Rs 71,100), respectively.

In terms of specifications, RedmiBook Pro 15 comes with a relatively larger 15.6-inch 3.2K (3,200×2,000 pixels) display that has an 89.1 percent screen-to-body ratio and supports 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs up to the 11th-generation Intel Core i7-11370H CPU with Nvidia GeForce MX450 (2GB DDR5) GPU and 16GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM. The laptop also comes with 512GB of PCIe SSD storage as standard. Other connectivity options and features such full-size three-colour backlit keyboard and fingerprint sensor scanner are the same as the RedmiBook Pro 14.
