LG is said to be testing a 3D camera assembly for the next version of the Google Nexus smartphone.

New Delhi: With speculations that Google is set to introduce two different Nexus smartphones this year, which will be manufactured by Huawei and LG, latest leaks indicate that the one made by the South Korean giant could include a superior camera.

Revelations on iNews24 hint that LG is testing a 3D camera assembly for the next version of the Google Nexus smartphone.

The purported device is also said to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and likely to be the first smartphone based on the recently announced Android M OS.

Earlier in May, details about the rumoured Huawei-made Nexus were also leaked, suggesting that the device will also come with a 5.7-inch 2K screen and be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset.

Although there were major expectations that new Nexus devices will be announced at Google’s recently concluded developers conference, but market watchers came back with only the new Android M operating system, Google Photos app, and a host of other services and products, and not the new Nexus devices.
