Rubina Dilaik Recalls Her Babymoon With Abhinav Shukla: ‘We Spoke So Much About Future’

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are in the happiest phase of their lives. They recently embraced parenthood and welcomed 2 twin baby girls. In a heartwarming announcement, they shared the names and meanings of their daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa.

While expecting, Rubina Dilaik started hosting her own chat show, where she shared fascinating insights into her pregnancy journey. In a recent episode, she delighted fans by revealing details about her delightful month-long babymoon in Los Angeles.

“Babymoon, you enjoy what you want to enjoy. I will enjoy what I want to enjoy. For me, travelling is exotic travelling and he like adventure travelling. So Abhinav and I had our own babymoons. I had planned out my thing. I wanted to go to a concert, on a cruise, wanted to travel cities by road, try out different cuisines. So I chalked out an entire list,” she said.

She went on to add, “The idea wasn’t to do everything. The idea was the journey outwards begin inwards first. I wanted to decide a path for us (the babies)… this is how I love travelling. This is how independently I can travel. It’s like a connection. I have made this conscious effort to build this connection. Nobody told us this, but we can do things differently too.”

The new mom elaborated that investing in travel is a powerful tool. She highlighted that a babymoon doesn’t necessarily require going overseas; instead, it’s about spending quality time with your partner. Throughout their trip, Rubina and Abhinav engaged in profound discussions about their future.

Regarding this babymoon, Rubina had previously shared that she took time for herself. She visited LA, where she enjoyed the most relaxing time. It was a period she dedicated to understanding this new phase, navigating the challenges, and becoming aware of the possibilities opening up for her.

Rubina and Abhinav tied the knot in June 2018. After five years of marital bliss, the deeply in love couple revealed their pregnancy on September 16, 2023. The new parents in town welcomed their twin daughters on November 27.
