From chakli vada pav to vada pav pizza, several bizarre food combos have gone viral in the past. Now, there is a new entry to the list – chocolate cheese vada pav. A video of the preparation of chocolate cheese vada pav is doing rounds on the internet.
In the viral clip, a vendor begins the process by coating biscuits in a gram flour batter and frying them in a pan. She opens a soft pao bun and drizzles it with chocolate syrup. She adds a layer of grated cheese and sprinkles crushed biscuits to add a crunch. Next, she places the crispy biscuit vada within the bun. She toasts vada pav, adds a final touch of grated cheese, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, a sprinkle of white and brown chocolate chips, and a decorative round wafer stick. The post was shared on an Instagram account named @foodpandits. The user also shared the address of the location in the caption, “Ever Tried This? Main market 57, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.”

The post was shared a week ago and since then this offbeat recipe has gone viral and left many foodies irked. The share also has numerous comments. Many were furious with this recipe. “Asambhav (Impossible)” a person commented. “A Mumbaikar can’t stand this, please stop playing with our emotions (vada pav)” commented a second. “Ye bhi baki tha abhi dekhna (This was all that was left to see)” added a third. “Waffle bnane ka tarika thoda casual hai (Such a casual way to make a waffle)” mentioned a fourth.
