Singing legend Michael Jackson is no longer with us. But the King of Pop will remain in our hearts forever. Despite leaving for the heavenly abode on June 25, 2009, his ample contribution to the music industry is cherished even today. Songs of Michael Jackson have inspired singers like Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, and The Weeknd to recreate music, following his style. In fact, MJ’s song renditions have such a global appeal that they have been used in Bollywood too. Recently, fans of Michael Jackson and Bollywood buffs were treated to a lovely surprise when a musician presented how the legend’s voice would sound if he ever sang a Bollywood track.
With the power of AI, musician Anshuman Sharma and mimicry artist Sumedh Shinde dropped an amazing audio of Michael Jackson on Instagram, as if the late singer was singing the popular Bollywood number Aadat Se Majboor. The track was originally sung by Benny Dayal for the 2011 film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl featuring Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, and Parineeti Chopra. While the mimicry artist gave his voice to the song, the musician helped in transforming his vocals to resemble Micahel Jackson. Needless to mention, it was a treat to the ears.

“If Michael Jackson sang Bollywood songs. Made Aadat Se Majboor by Salim Sulaiman music in MJ’s iconic style using the amazing Sumedh Shindey‘s voice with AI. Hope you all will like it! Og sung by Benny Dayal” read the Instagram caption. Along with the audio, the creator-duo also added clips of a previous performance by Michael Jackson and Ranveer Singh dancing to Aadat Se Majboor. The vocals and texture of the voice were mixed so well that it was impossible not to believe that MJ was singing the Bollywood track.
Impressed by the AI-created Michael Jackson-Benny Dayal song crossover, musician Salim Merchant wrote, “Crazy. You guys are so insanely talented. Amazing.” Actress Celina Jaitley commented, “Very cool !!! Love it”. Chef Kunal Kapur simply called the entire act “Superb”.
Reacting to the song’s rendition, one Michael Jackson fan noted, “Wow, I am his fan and I can tell you did it so well, sound like him.” “You are making my childhood idol alive with Hindi songs,” chimed in another. “Amazing work. Worthy of appreciation. Hats off to your skills guys,” lauded a third individual.
The video has garnered over 46,400 likes on Instagram. Did the song remind you of Michael Jackson too?
