Did Treadmill Run Kill 6-Year-Old? Father Charged For This After Viral Abuse Video
The incident took place in March 2021, and Christopher Gregor, 31, was arrested three months later.

With the ongoing proceedings in the case of the death of six-year-old Corey Micciolo, Christopher Gregor, the man who has been accused of killing his son through a bruising treadmill run, has claimed that his son died due to pneumonia and not the gym session. As per reports by New York Post, the latest court proceedings have revealed that Christopher Gregor’s lawyer said the treadmill run “has nothing to do” with the death of Corey. Recently, the incident that happened in 2021 gained significant momentum after a video was produced in court where Christopher could be seen forcing his six-year-old son to continue with the run despite him falling from the treadmill several times.

As the video was shown during the proceedings of the Ocean County Court in Atlanta, USA, Christopher Gregor’s lawyer tried to defend him by saying that his son died due to pneumonia and not because of the strenuous workout. The incident took place in March 2021, and Christopher, 31, was arrested three months later. The disturbing video showed that the accused forced the kid to run on a treadmill at a very high speed at the Atlantic Heights Clubhouse fitness centre allegedly because he thought him to be ‘too fat’.

In the CCTV footage, it could be seen that Christopher increased the speed and incline of the treadmill. The boy fell from the treadmill, and his father was seen picking him up again and forcing him to continue his run. According to the media outlet, Christopher Gregor’s lawyer said in court, “When you see that video, you’re going to be horrified. You’re going to be mortified. But Corey’s death had absolutely nothing to do with that treadmill.”

The prosecutors disagreed with the claims and said that it was Christopher’s abuse that left Corey with internal injuries that ultimately led him to lose his life. Corey’s mother, Breanna Micciolo, also stood up as a witness and revealed that her son had a bruise on his forehead, which was very odd-shaped. She also revealed that he had an infection on his chest as well. Corey Micciolo died from multiple injuries on April 2, 2021.
