Emirates Flight To Switzerland Turns Into Private Plane For Mother-Daughter Duo

In a pleasant yet surprising instance for a mother-daughter duo, they got the opportunity to travel all alone on a flight while travelling for a vacation. According to an Independent report, the mother and daughter were the only two passengers in the economic class cabin of an Emirates flight while travelling from Seychelles to Switzerland. The 25-year-old Zoe Doyle was travelling with her 59-year-old mother Kimmy Chedel on Christmas 2023 as they were on the way to visit family in Switzerland. However, to their surprise, the flight had no one but only them and the flight attendants to spend the entire journey with.

According to the report in the Independent, Zoe shared a video of their experience, showing the empty seats inside the flight as both the mother and daughter had a great time with the entire flight all to themselves. Along with a caption that read, “Merry Christmas from the only ladies flying Emirates today,” Zoe gave a glimpse into their flight journey. From her mother trying to put on the headgear (the one that Emirates cabin staff members wear) to Zoe dancing along the clean corridors and creating snow angels on the aircraft floor, the video was indeed a fun one. Besides that, the two were also seen receiving a tour of the aircraft, however, despite having so many empty seats, they were not permitted to travel in the first class.

Further in the video, Zoe spoke about how they had so much fun on the flight, chatting with the flight attendants and also filming videos with them. Apart from that, she also opened up about capturing pictures of her mother who was also dressed up in the cabin crew uniform.

Man gets ‘VIP’ treatment on flight

Notably, this is not the first time that such an incident has taken place. Earlier in April 2023, a UK-based man while travelling to Portugal from Northern Ireland discovered that he was the only passenger on the entire flight.

Upon investigating the same at the airport about whether the flight had been postponed or cancelled, the passenger was informed that he would be the only one onboard.

Before the plane took off, he not only got to choose his seat but also spoke with the captain. Describing his experience of feeling like travelling on a private plane, the man shared how he enjoyed every second of the journey and also that the flight attendants were very kind to him.
