Govinda Gets Hitched For The Second Time, But There's A Catch

Bollywood star Govinda needs no introduction. He ruled the hearts of the audience with his acting and comic timing in the 80s and 90s. Govinda’s unique style of dancing set him apart from others. Although Govinda is currently away from the world of Bollywood, he is active on social media and in the film sphere. Now, at the age of 60, Govinda has married for the second time. Photos of Govinda’s second marriage have gone viral on social media. Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and actress Madhuri Dixit remained a witness to his wedding. Govinda got married to Sunita in 1987. Both have been married for 37 years now. The duo recently appeared in the reality show, Dance Deewane. During the show, Madhuri Dixit jokingly said, “No one knows when they got married”. To this Govinda’s wife Sunita said, “Yes we don’t have a single photo of our wedding”. Responding to this, Madhuri said, “Okay, no problem, if you don’t have a photo, but you have the whole family of Dance Deewane. Let’s get you married today”. After this, Sunil Shetty and Madhuri Dixit arrived with garlands in hand. Govinda and Sunita got married once by exchanging garlands on national television.

This special episode of Govinda has been named Govinda Ki Shaadi by the team of Dance Deewane. On this occasion, the duo were twinning and wore pink traditional outfits. Govinda was seen in a sherwani, while Sunita was seen wearing a lehenga-choli. The love between the two was visible from their affectionate gestures.

Last year, in November, Govinda grabbed headlines after he shared a photo with director David Dhawan on Instagram. The popular actor-director pair have given many together in the 90s like Hero No 1, Coolie No 1, Raja Babu and Bade Miyaan Chhote Miyaan. After years of working together, Govinda and David had a fallout. Govinda’s Instagram post then confirmed that the duo have kept the past behind them, and are amicable yet again. According to reports, the photo was clicked at film producer Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali party.
