Katrina Kaif Celebrates The Success Of Merry Christmas And Co-star Vijay Sethupathi's B'day; Photos

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi are currently basking under the success of the recently released film Merry Christmas. The film has been winning everyone’s hearts. The audience lauds the lead actors’ performance. And to celebrate the success, the team reunited. The photos were shared by Katrina on her social handle. They celebrated Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Katrina Kaif wrote, “Celebrating all the love you have given to #merrychristmas, @actorvijaysethupathi birthday, Sriram sir 20 th year from his first.” In the first picture, Katrina Kaif is seen posing with director Sriram Raghavan. In the second photo, Vijay Sethupathi also joined with them. The last picture shows Sanjay Kapoor, Ramesh Taurani, Sriram Raghavan and Vijay Sethupathi. Two delicious cakes are placed on the table.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Kapoor also shared a group picture that shows the team of Merry Christmas happily posing together. “About last night , Happy birthday @actorvijaysethupathi @rameshtaurani , 20 years of Ek Hasina thi , #celebration #merrychristmas #ekhasinathi,” read his caption.

Talking about Ek Hasina Thi, the film was released on 16th January, 2004, and starred Urmila Matondkar and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, it was produced by Ram Gopal Varma.

As per Sacnilk.com, the film earned Rs. 3.50 crore nett in India on the second day. The total domestic collection stands at Rs 6.50 crores after the second day. The film also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, Tinnu Anand, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, Rajesh Williams, and Pari. Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte will also be seen in cameos in the film. Merry Christmas is produced by Ramesh Taurani, Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray and Kewal Garg.

The trailer begins with a montage of various clips. On Christmas Eve, Katrina encounters Vijay Sethupathi and playfully questions whether he is single or if he discreetly removed his wedding ring upon seeing her. Soon, they head to her residence, and events take an unexpected turn. She requests him to stay, hinting that appearances can be deceiving. The narrative unfolds over the course of one night in what looks like an intriguing and suspenseful dark thriller.
