Marathi actress Ketki Chitale is currently away from the industry. She still remains active in the media for her controversial statements. Now, she is back in the headlines for a video, where she is seen sharing her criticisms on a decision of the government. As per reports, Ketki is expressing criticism of the government’s decision to allocate funds to the Waqf Board. The video is now going viral on social media. In the clip, she can be heard taking a dig at the Lok Sabha Assembly elections. Ketki Chitale is reacting to the government’s decision to allocate Rs 10 crore to the Waqf Board. She says, “I read shocking news in the morning and now I don’t know what to say.” Mentioning the allocated funds, she says why this organisation is being helped. She states, “You are deaf, but now you are making us deaf too.” According to her, she casted her vote depending on who will be the Prime Minister, without any question. “But now the question will arise as to which flag to take in the Assembly,” she continued.

Ketki Chitale further mentioned how marches are being done for the abolition of the waqf board, while some funds are being allocated to it. She kept questioning the government on what type of future goals they have. The video has received support as well as mixed reactions from the public.

Earlier this year, Ketki Chitale faced troubles over her statement on the Atrocities Act. A case was registered against the actress for hurting sentiments. As per the reports, she allegedly asked to scrutinise the cases under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. According to the police officials, the complaint was filed by a local named Premnath Jagatkar at the Parli city police station. She had allegedly stated, “Information should be obtained under the Right to Information Act as filing false cases under the Atrocities Act has become a racket.”
