New Delhi: Air India's Maharajah is rolling out the red carpet for those who travel on its non-stop flight AI-101/AI-102, to be launched effectively on February 8, 2008 on the Delhi-New York route. With the introduction of this new flight, Air India will become the first airline to offer non-stop services between Delhi and JFK, New York.
The passengers traveling in premium class - First and Executive - will get a free limousine pick up and drop service to/from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and JFK Airport at the time of departure/arrival. Additionally, they will receive a gift voucher of $75 and $50 respectively for each sector of travel for on-board duty-free shopping.
This is in addition to the experience of a new level of luxury while travelling on the Boeing 777-200LR (Longer Range) aircraft, the most deluxe aircraft in the world today, being deployed for operating the non-stop service.
Earlier, Air India had introduced a daily non-stop flight launched between Mumbai and New York effective August 1, 2007. The flight has earned the national carrier encomiums from its passengers, including the doyens of industry and business.
Those who purchase tickets in India for travel by the NonStop flight from Delhi/Mumbai in the Economy Class on full published IATA fares can avail of Air India's Companion Free Scheme. The scheme is valid till March 31, 2008.
