The salaries of Ethir Neechal serial actors are insane, highlighting the unexpected revelation that late actor Marimuthu who played the villain Adi Gunasekaran, used to earn more than the lead hero. Coming to the actresses, Madhumitha, Kamlesh, and Haripriya reportedly earn Rs 15,000 per day, reflecting their notable contributions to the show. Kanika receives a salary of Rs 12,000, whereas Sabari and Priyadarshini earn Rs 10,000. Marimuthu had previously worked as an assistant to poet Vairamuthu.

G. Marimuthu, who featured in over 50 films, including recent ones like Jailer with Rajinikanth and Pariyerum Perumal, was not only an actor but also a writer. His passing garnered condolences from both the film industry and political leaders, marking the loss of a multifaceted talent.
