A Repeat of India vs England T20 World Cup 2022 Semi-final

On November 10, 2022, England faced India at the Adelaide Oval in the 2nd semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022, and England, the eventual winners, led by a demolition act from Jos Buttler and Alex Hales decimated India by 10 wickets, chasing down the target of 169, in just 16 overs and 10 wickets intact. That game forced India to change their T20 batting template and India will have a chance to redeem themselves at Guyana come June 27.

If India vs England 2nd semi-final is abandoned without a result, India, by virtue winning their Super 8 group, India will reach the final.

Does IND vs ENG semi-final have a reserve day? 

The two semi-finals will each have additional time added in order to complete the match which will total 250 minutes.

For the first semi-final on 26 June (local time), 60 minutes will be available at the end of the day’s play with the remaining 190 minutes scheduled for 2 pm on 27 June.

The second semi-final – IND vs ENG – does not have a reserve day and all 250 minutes of extra time have been allotted to the same day itself.
