King Charles Learns New Handshake as he Welcomes West Indies' Squad to Buckingham Palace - WATCH
Ahead of the ENG vs WI series, King Charles seems to have picked up a new handshake from the West Indies squad who visited the Buckingham Palace.

As the West Indies gear up for their upcoming Test tour against England, the visitors visited the iconic Buckingham Palace where they met King Charles. The squad members seemingly had some fun interacting with the King who was certainly in a playful mood.

The King was seen in a video posted on X where he was seen learning a new handshake from the debutant, Jeremiah Louis, who received his maiden cap for the West Indies national side after the injury of their veteran pacer, Kemar Roach.

King Charles spoke about his concern regarding Hurricane Beryl across the Caribbean Island of the Windies skipper Kraigg Braithwaite hopes to put some smiles across the people in the island nation.

The West Indies will look to put the T20 World Cup 2024 woes behind them and start their Test series with a fresh start. They will also look to capitalise on the momentum that’s behind them after the sensational win against Australia at the Gabba in January 2024.

The upcoming Test against England will also be the last for the English great, James Anderson, who will call time on his career after the first Test that is set to take place at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The Windies will hope to use their pacers in swinging conditions and the likes of Shamar Joseph and Jason Holder will help lead their pace attack and put up a massive fight against Ben Stokes’ side who have been a dominant side at home.

West Indies will begin their tour of England with the first Test set to begin on July 10 at 3:30 PM IST.

The English side will hope to give Anderson his fairy-tale ending as his Test career comes to an end and also bounce back after the 1-4 hammering during their tour of India prior to the T20 World Cup 2024.
