Having beaten West Indies in all formats at home recently, Australia are now gearing up for their tour of New Zealand for a multi-format series featuring three T20Is and a couple of Tests.
The series will kick off with the white-ball assignments. The opening T20I between Australia and New Zealand will be held in Wellington on February 21.
Both the teams have been impressive form in the shortest format recently.
While Australia won two of the three T20Is in the recently concluded West Indies series, New Zealand beat Pakistan 4-1 in a five-match assignment.
Australia have a solid T20I team comprising Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa among others.
For New Zealand, all-rounder Mitchell Santer will serve the role of an interim captain in the absence of Kane Williamson, who will miss the T20I series due to family commitments.
