Rohit Sharma Spotted Outside Gym In Mumbai Ahead Of Test Series Against Bangladesh
Rohit will be seen in action for India in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which is set to start on September 19 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Rohit Sharma, who became the third Indian captain to win an ICC event in June 2024, is enjoying a break from competitive cricket these days, but his off time is not centred around chilling at home. The India captain was recently spotted outside a gym in Mumbai. He was seen waiting at the reception, and the picture was supposedly snapped ahead of a training session.

A social media user shared the picture on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Captain Rohit Sharma’s latest picture in the gym session. The Hitman is getting ready to Roar in this Test Summar.”

Recently, another picture from Rohit’s gym session went viral on social media. The T20 World Cup winner was captured working out with some of his friends. His group included former Indian player Dhawal Kulkarni and cricketer-turned-coach Abhishek Nayar.

This, however, was not the first time that Rohit was spotted along with Kulkarni and Nayar in recent times. Last month, the trio was seen enjoying a meal along with some other friends at a restaurant in Mumbai. It was Kulkarni who dropped the picture on X with the title, “That’s how we do it” in Marathi.

Rohit was last seen in action for India during the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka last month. He top-scored for India in all three matches played at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo but was not able to help India win any of the three matches.

After a month-long break, he will take a field for India in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which starts on September 19. The series opener between India and Bangladesh is scheduled to take place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, and Green Park Stadium in Kanpur will host the second red-ball match from September 27 onwards.

After the Bangladesh series, India will face New Zealand in a three-match Test series at home and then travel to Australia for a high-profile five-match Test series.

The first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is set to start in Perth on November 22, and the next four matches will be played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
