Arjun Tendulkar, who bowls left-arm pace, tried to bowl with his right-arm as he attempted to knock over a single stumps during MI's net session.

Arjun Tendulkar is yet to play his first game of IPL 2024 and the left-arm pacer is continuing to sweat it out in the nets for Mumbai Indians.

Ahead of MI’s highly-anticipated clash with Chennai Super Kings, the franchise has shared a video of Arjun trying to knock over a single stump by bowling with his non-bowling arm.

After a few failed attempts though, the youngster switches back to left-arm bowling and ends up hitting the bull’s eye.

The icing on the cake though is the reaction of MI legend and current fast bowling coach Lasith Malinga who hilariously laid bare the team’s problem of plenty.

“See! Too many fast bowlers,” Malinga said.

Arjun, son of batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, made his IPL debut last year and played four matches, taking three wickets in them.

Meanwhile, MI seem to be getting their IPL 2024 campaign on track with successive victories. The five-time champions began the season with a hat-trick of defeats that saw them drop to the bottom of the standings.

However, they defeated Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in convincing fashions to lift themselves up from the bottom of the pile to the seventh spot.

On Sunday, the Hardik Pandya-led side returns to action in what promises to be a mouthwatering clash with Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium. This will be the 37th time the two teams will be squaring off against each other.

Together, the two teams have won 10 IPL titles and are the joint-most successfull franchises in the league’s history.

In the ongoing season, both MI and CSK have installed new captains.

While Pandya has succeeded Rohit Sharma into the role at MI, Ruturaj Gaikwad has taken over from MS Dhoni at CSK.
