'Contracts Signed': Bombshell Claim Over Liverpool Hero Mohamed Salah Joining Saudi League
Mohamed Salah was subject of interest from Saudi Pro League last season as well but the offer from Al-Ittifaq was rejected by Liverpool FC.

Liverpool FC may have to endure the exit of another of their brightest stars once the current season ends. After the stunning announcement from manager Jurgen Klopp that he will step away from the role at the end of the season, Mohamed Salah is said to be on his way out too.

Mido, a former Egypt international who also plied his trade in Premier League, has claimed that Salah has signed contract and that he will be playing in the Saudi League from next season.

“Mohamed Salah will be in the Saudi League next season. Contracts have been signed,” Mido, who represented Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, wrote on X to his 5.6 million followers.

Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittifaq had reportedly tabled an offer of £150 million for the 31-year-old last summer but Liverpool rejected it.

However, as per fresh reports, the Saudi clubs will go on a shopping spree when the summer transfer window opens with a bunch of Premier League stars on their radars.

Salah’s current contract with Liverpool is valid till 2025.

Since his arrival from AS Roma in 2017, the Egyptian superstar has scored over 150 goals for Liverpool and won several titles including the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, FIFA Club World among others.

Salah is a three-time Premier League Golden Boot Award winner which is given to the leading goal-scorer in a season. In October 2022, he broke the record for the fastest ever hat-trick in a Champions League fixture, hitting three goals inside six minutes and 12 seconds against Rangers.

Salah had suffered a hamstring issue when representing Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations and later missed four Premier League games as well. He scored a goal against Brentford on his comeback before again being sidelined due to a muscular issue.

As per a report in ESPN, besides Salah, the Saudi clubs are also targeting Kevin De Bruyne, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva , Raphael Varane and Andreas Pereira.
