The ninth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is set to kick off on October 3 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A total of 10 teams will be competing for the crown in the upcoming edition.
The Women’s T20 World Cup was initially slated to take place in Bangladesh. However, recent cases of violence and political unrest in the country have resulted in the limited-overs tournament being relocated to the Middle East.
Australia are the most successful team in Women’s World Cup history with six wins. They will be heading into the tournament as the favourites once again. The tournament will conclude on October 20.
