Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga released the results of the B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination held in 2024 on July 8. It will be followed by the counselling of the passed candidates. The successful applicants must register for counselling on the official website of Bihar B.Ed – https://biharcetbed-lnmu.in./. LNMU began the registration for the counselling process for Bihar B.Ed on July 11. The last date to apply is July 20. The first merit list for admission to B.Ed colleges is going to be released on July 25. It will contain the names of those candidates who have registered.
Choice filling will be held for admission to 34,700 seats in 325 government and private B.Ed colleges of the state. Candidates can choose a minimum of three and a maximum of nine colleges during the choice filling. A total of 1,80,050 candidates have been successful in the B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination held in 2024. For counselling, the unreserved category will have to pay Rs 1000. The women, EWS, and Backward Classes candidates have to pay Rs 750 while SC-ST are required to submit a fee of Rs 500 for the same.
The first merit list for admission in all 343 colleges of Bihar will be released on July 25. From 26 to 9 August, candidates will consent to the allotted colleges and deposit the partial admission fee of Rs 3000 online. After this, from July 26 to August 10, candidates will have to verify their papers from their allotted colleges.
The second selection list will be released on August 13. On this basis, candidates will give their consent for the allotted colleges from August 14 to 25. After this, paper verification will be done in the allotted colleges from August 14 to 27. The third selection list will be released on August 29. Candidates will consent to admission to the allotted college from September 30 to 9. The third round of paper verification has been scheduled from August 30 to September 7.
Among the 94,392 male candidates who appeared for Bihar B.Ed, 91,832 passed. Similarly, out of 95,176 female candidates, 88,218 cleared the exam.
