CAT 2024 Registration Process to End Soon; Submit Applications By September 13

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will close the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 for admission to IIMs and other MBA colleges in India. Candidates who meet the requirements can fill out the online CAT application form 2024 by September 13 until 5 PM via iimcat.ac.in. On November 24, 2024, the IIM Calcutta will hold the CAT exam in three sessions. Every year, the CAT exam is held to enrol candidates in the postgraduate and doctorate programs offered by IIMs. For management courses provided by non-IIMs, CAT results are also needed.

CAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 50 per cent of the marks or an equivalent CGPA (45 per cent for applicants from SC, ST, or PWD categories) are eligible to apply for CAT 2024.

CAT 2024: How To Register?

Step 1. Go to iimcat.ac.in, the official website

Step 2. On “new registration,” click

Step 3. Provide your name, email address, nationality, date of birth and phone number

Step 4. After completing the CAPTCHA code, use the obtained OTP to confirm your registration

Step 5. To finish the form, log in with the CAT ID that was sent via email

Step 6. Add your academic and personal information

Step 7. Add a scanned copy of your signature and a current passport-sized photo

Step 8. Select your top test cities, courses, and IIMs

Step 9. Use net banking or a credit/debit card to pay the CAT application fee

Step 10. Now, review the application form and save the form for later use

CAT 2024: Application Fee

Applicants, belonging to the general category, will have to pay Rs 2,500 to complete the CAT form 2024, while the reserved category applicants and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,250 online.
