Four female students, hailing from Chisda village of Sakti district (Chattisgarh), are garnering attention for successfully securing seats in prestigious MBBS programs across the country. Among these 4 women, Bhumika Patel and Ritu Netam have been selected for MBBS studies in Raipur Medical College, while Muskan Patel has been selected in Durg Medical College and Lilima Sidar has been selected in SIMS Bilaspur. These women completed their education from Chattisgarh’s Navodaya Vidyalaya School. The school’s Principal AB Saxena has attributed the success of these students and appreciated their continuous hard work, dedication and guidance of teachers. Based on the selection of these students, Navodaya Vidyalaya teacher KK Patel said that along with modern education, students are also given career counselling sessions and life skill lessons in the school. Navodaya Vidyalaya aims to provide high-quality education to talented students hailing from rural areas.
KK Patel also added that Ritu Netam, who has been selected for MBBS studies at Raipur Medical College, is the daughter of a small farmer of Dumrapara Village of Baradwar Police Station area. Despite her financial difficulties, Dakshana Foundation’s scholarship has made her path easy.
The laborious academic environment, along with the support of the teachers, has played a crucial role in shaping those young talents. With their continuous support and labour, these talented individuals are able to excel in the medical field and will do the same in future.
As these girls are embarking on a new medical journey, they are also standing out as a source of inspiration for many young individuals, who hail from rural regions and aspire to become successful in future. Their success story is a hope for many poor people and also highlights that with extreme determination, hard work and the right educational support, achieving one’s dreams is indeed not a big deal regarding one’s background.
