The Assam Directorate of Elementary Education is hiring for 5,500 assistant teacher positions in lower and upper primary schools.

Young people are constantly seeking government jobs, with many prioritising teaching positions due to their prestigious nature and attractive salaries. However, candidates often lack information regarding where teaching job openings are available and how many vacancies exist.

A significant recruitment drive for senior teachers is underway in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment for 347 senior teacher positions, with online applications commencing from February 6. Interested candidates can apply for these posts until March 6 by visiting the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

Besides, the third phase of teacher recruitment in Bihar is set to commence soon. According to BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad, the online application process for teacher reinstatement’s third phase will begin on February 10, with forms being accepted until February 23. Subsequently, the recruitment examination is scheduled to take place between March 7 and March 17 (BPSC TRE Phase 3 Exam Date).

There is also significant recruitment of primary teachers in Assam, with the application process reopening. The Assam Directorate of Elementary Education is hiring for 5,500 assistant teacher positions in lower and upper primary schools. Initially, the application deadline was February 2, but it has been extended until February 13. Interested candidates can submit their applications for these positions by visiting atdee.assam.gov.in.

The Maharashtra School Education Department has initiated a significant teacher recruitment campaign for a total of 21,678 positions in 1,258 schools statewide, including zilla parishads (ZP), municipal corporations, city councils and privately-run schools from Classes 1 to 12. The recruitment process will be conducted through the Pavitra portal, a technology-based centralised platform aimed at ensuring transparency. This information was conveyed through a circular issued by the office of Commissioner of Education Maharashtra, Suraj Mandhare, on Monday.

As per the circular, a total of 2,39,730 candidates registered for the Teachers Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT) conducted in February/March 2023. Out of these, 2,16,443 candidates appeared for the test. Additionally, candidates who appeared for the TAIT exam in 2022 will also be eligible to participate in this recruitment drive.
