IGNOU July Admissions 2024 Registration Begins at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in; How to Apply?

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun the registration process for the July 2024 admissions. All interested and eligible candidates can apply for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses through the official website of the university at ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in and for the online courses at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. The last date for submission of the application is June 30, 2024.

“The July 2024 fresh-admission cycle for UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programme offered through ODL and online mode has commenced,” IGNOU wrote on X. IGNOU offers admissions to various Bachelor’s, Master’s, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma and other certificate programmes.

Candidates must upload scanned copies of the below-mentioned documents when applying for the Online or Open and Distance Learning programmes:

1. Photograph

3. Educational Qualifications

4. Experience certificates

IGNOU July Admissions 2024: Eligibility criteria

1. For Undergraduate (UG) admissions at IGNOU, a student must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent marks from any recognised educational board.

2. For the Postgraduate or PG courses, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 percent marks

3. To apply for Diploma or Certificate courses, students must have done 10+2 from a recognized board.

4. Admissions will be given on the basis of the merit list for all courses, except PhD, Bed, and PBScN).

IGNOU July Admissions 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website of the IGNOU at ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look out for the ‘July Admissions 2024’ tab and click on it.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page featuring Online and ODL programme links.

Step 4: Choose your preferred programme, fill in the application form and submit all the required documents.

Step 5: Deposit the application fee and you’re done.

Step 6: Download the application form and take a printout of it on an A-4-sized sheet of paper for future reference.
