Indian Railways has made an important announcement for those who are seeking jobs. On February 2, the Railway Board issued instructions for centralised employment notification for all Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB). The Railway Ministry has announced that there will be recruitment in Railways every year and released the examination calendar as well which has information regarding recruitment notification, examination, training and vacancies in various categories.
The annual calendar has been released on all regional official websites of Indian Railways. It has important details like the exam schedule for various categories including Non-Technical Popular categories for Graduate (levels 4,5 and 6) and Undergraduate (Levels 2 and 3) Positions, Junior Engineers, Group D Level 1 roles, Paramedical Categories and Ministerial and Isolated categories. There are also vacancies for 5,696 Assistant Loco Pilots and 9,000 Technicians vacancies.
RRB will be issuing notifications for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot every year between January and March, whereas between July and September, the recruitment process for class 12, graduate level, junior engineer and paramedical posts for RRB NTPC. Between October and December, recruitment notification will be announced for Level 1, i.e. Gangman, Pointman, and Assistant Posts.
Currently, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment is going on and registrations are open on the official portal of RRB. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms by February 19.
As per Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, notification for recruitment in Railways will not be issued four times a year so that candidates do not have to keep waiting indefinitely and can get the time to prepare for the upcoming examinations.
Recently, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) issued yet another notification regarding an upcoming vacancy. As per the information, the application process for recruiting Technicians for 9,000 vacant posts will be carried out between March and April. It is an online application and interested candidates have to visit the website of Indian Railways to apply for it. ITI pass candidates who are aged between 18 to 33 years will be able to apply for this.
