Lucknow's Shia PG College Invites Applications For Admissions To Various Courses
As the UP board declared the results of Class 12 students recently Shia PG College has started accepting applications for its academic year 2024-25.

The Shia PG College has commenced its admissions process for the academic year 2024-25 following the recent declaration of Class 12 results by the UP board. Offering a diverse array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the college invites applications from students across all streams.

Prospective students can select their preferred subject from a range of courses including BA, B.Com, B.Com (Self Finance), LLB, B.Sc in Math, B.Sc in Bio, MA in Urdu, MA in Sociology, M.Sc in Zoology, and MA in Journalism And Mass Communication. The application process is facilitated through the college’s website www.shiapgcollege.ac.in/apply-online-1/, where students can fill out the registration form to initiate their application.

Upon completing the registration, applicants are required to pay the application fee online. Although the final deadline for submission is yet to be announced, the application form has been made available starting today.

Pradeep Sharma, spokesperson for Shia PG College, emphasized that students seeking admission must first register on the Lucknow University portal. Additionally, he highlighted the mandatory application fee of Rs 1000, underscoring its significance for the completion of the application process.

In a move to expand its academic offerings, the college is set to introduce a Bachelor’s program in Journalism at the undergraduate level, along with Political Science, Education, and History at the postgraduate level, each with 30 seats.

Addressing the allocation of seats for various subjects, a college official disclosed the availability of 1046 seats in BA, 700 seats in B.Com, 320 seats in B.Com (Self Finance), 60 seats in BBA, 288 seats in B.Sc Math, 262 seats in B.Sc Bio, 320 seats in LLB, 60 seats in MA Urdu, 60 seats in MA Sociology, 60 seats in MA Journalism and Mass Communication, and 30 seats in M.Sc Zoology. Furthermore, plans are underway to introduce the LLB Honors program at the undergraduate level pending approval from the Bar Council of India, after its approval by Lucknow University.
