The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2024 results for the Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams will be released by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) today, May 8. As per the official announcement, the result will be announced on MBOSE websites, mbose.in and megresults.nic.in, during office hours.

This year, the Meghalaya MBOSE was conducted from March 1 to March 28. Students need to enter their email address, mobile number, application number, and date of birth to view their results. Students will be able to download their provisional mark sheets after the results for the science, commerce, and vocational streams are announced.
Meghalaya Board HSSLC 12th Result 2024: Previous Year Pass Percentages
Last year, there was an overall pass percentage of 85.72 per cent. Pass rates for the MBOSE HSSLC Arts Exam 2023 are 81.55 per cent for boys and 88.40 per cent for girls. Over 3,635 students from the science stream took the exam out of which 2,866 of them passed, giving the science stream a 78.84 per cent passing percentage. Meanwhile, 1,890 of the 2,383 students from the commerce stream passed, giving it a pass percentage of 79.31 per cent.
81.17 per cent total pass rate was reported in 2022. The MBOSE HSSLC arts exam was taken by 22,711 students, out of which 18,434 passed. The percentage of students that passed the MBOSE HSSLC Commerce stream was 83.63 per cent. Girls passed the HSSLC exams with an 88.06 per cent pass rate, while boys passed with an 83.60 per cent pass rate in the Commerce stream. In the 12th Science stream, 71.62 per cent of students passed where 75.46 per cent were boys pass percentage 74 per cent were girls pass percentage.
In 2021, 80.75 per cent of students passed the MBOSE 12th Arts exam. The pass percentage in the Science stream was 75.85 per cent, while that in Commerce was 80.93 per cent. and arts pass percentage was a total of 80.75 per cent
There were overall 30,000 candidates who took the exam in 2020 where there was 72.24 per cent pass percentage for the Science stream and 77.28 per cent pass percentage for the Commerce stream.
