The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will close the extended registration process for the Assistant Engineer (AE) recruitment 2024 today, September 15, 2024. Candidates can submit their applications online for the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Exam 2024 via the official RPSC website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
This recruitment drive seeks to fill a total of 1,014 Assistant Engineer positions across various departments, including Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering. The key departments involved are the Public Health Engineering Department, Public Works Department and Water Resource Department.
The registration process for the RPSC AE 2024, which began on August 14, 2024, was originally scheduled to close on September 12, 2024, but has been extended to September 15. The date for the RPSC AE 2024 preliminary examination has been announced and it is expected to take place on September 28, 2024.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a BE/BTech degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering from a recognised university.

Step 3: A new page will open where the candidates will have to register themselves.
Step 4: Once done, candidates will have to log in to the account.
Step 5: Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Click on submit and download the page.

RPSC AE Recruitment 2024: Application fee
The application fee for candidates in the general, unreserved categories is Rs 600, while for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and other reserved categories, the fee is Rs 400. The payment should be done through online mode only.
RPSC AE Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will include a prelims exam comprising of two objective-type papers: one compulsory and one optional, carrying a maximum of 400 marks. Those who clear the prelims will be called for the mains exam which is a written test consisting of compulsory and optional subjects. The duration of the mains examination is four hours. Each optional subject has two papers, and the duration for each paper is three hours. This will be followed by a personal interview, document verification, and medical examination.
