SBI Clerk Mains Result 2024 Delayed Due to Lok Sabha Elections, Likely to Be Released in June
The SBI exam authority has taken this decision to delay the Mains result as per the directions of the Ministry of Finance in view of the Lok Sabha elections

The State Bank of India has postponed the declaration of SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2024 result and is likely to release it in June. The bank conducted the Mains 2024 on February 25 and March 4. More than 80,000 candidates appeared for the preliminary test and were eligible for the Mains. The delay in SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2024 result announcement is owing to the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The exam authority has taken this decision as per the directions of the Ministry of Finance in view of the 18th Lok Sabha elections. The result is expected to be out after the election process is over.

After the result is out, candidates can check their marks through SBI’s online portal – sbi.co.in. ”Candidates are advised that declaration of result of all ongoing recruitment held earlier in FY 2023 -24 are deferred as per directions of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services and shall be published once notification of competition of the entire 18th Lok Sabha process is released by the Election commission of India,” the notice read.

SBI Clerk Mains Result 2024: How To Download

Once the results are available on the official website, the candidates can follow these simple steps to access their SBI Clerk Mains 2024 result:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI – sbi.co.in

Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the ‘careers’ tab.

Step 3: Next, click on the ‘SBI Clerk Mains Result Notice’ link.

Step 4: Here, you will be required to enter your application number along with the date of birth.

Step 5: Your SBI Clerk Mains 2024 result will be displayed on the screen. Review the result carefully.

Step 6: Download and take a printout for future reference.

This year, SBI conducted the mains exam in various shifts. The first shift was from 9 am to 11:40 am and the second shift was from 2:30 pm to 5:10 pm.

The SBI Clerk Mains 2024 exam comprised a total of 190 questions, carrying a combined weightage of 200 marks. Each question, except for those in the Reasoning Ability and Computer Knowledge section, carried a weightage of 1 mark. The Reasoning Ability and Computer Knowledge section, however, consisted of 50 questions with a total marking scheme of 60 marks. For all other subjects, candidates were allotted 1 mark for every correct answer.
