The UP National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 seat allotment result for Round 1 will be published today, August 30, 2024, by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh. Applicants who applied for the first round of counselling can view the seat allocation results at upneet.gov.in, the official website or dgme.up.gov.in.
Applicants will be given seats based on their preferences submitted during counselling, as well as other factors such as rank, seat availability, and reservation. The allotment letters will be available for download from August 31 to September 5, 2024, for candidates who have been given a seat, as per the official timetable.

Candidates will be able to leave the medical and dentistry schools at government and private institutions at any time after securing their spots in the first round of counselling. Applicants can request for free exit and get a reimbursement if they decide not to accept admission to the designated institution or school. Those who received a free exit from the first round of counselling may participate again in the second or third round of counselling.
The candidates’ original documents will be validated at the designated medical or dentistry institutions or nodal locations. The UP NEET UG 2024 counselling process for MBBS and BDS admissions will only be open to those who successfully passed the NEET 2024. Admission would be awarded to 85 per cent of state quota seats in government medical institutions and 100 per cent of MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges based on the NEET UG 2024 merit list.
