A total of 347 individuals have been chosen for admission to the Officers Training Academy in Chennai, after qualifying the UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2023

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 exam, which is required for admission to the Officers Training Academy. Applicants can visit the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, to view the UPSC CDS 1 final result 2023.

For the 119th Short Service Commission Course (Men) and the 33rd Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) course, which will begin in April 2024, a total of 347 individuals have been chosen for admission to the OTA Chennai.

There are 170 openings for the 119th Short Service Commission Course for Men and 17 for the 33rd Short Service Commission Course for Women (Non-Technical), according to the commission.

UPSC CDS 1 Result 2023: How to Check

Step 1: Go to upsc.gov.in, the UPSC’s official website.

Step 2: Look for the UPSC CDS I 2023 final result link on the main website.

Step 3: A new PDF file with the candidates’ names and roll numbers will open when you click the link shown.

Step 4: Download the UPSC CDS I 2023 final result file and make sure to print a copy of the same for your records.

The commission added that the results of the candidates’ medical examinations were not considered in the preparation of the merit list. All candidates’ candidatures are provisional. Army Headquarters will verify the candidates’ dates of birth and educational backgrounds, according to UPSC.

Within fifteen days of the CDS 1 final results being announced, recommended candidates’ marks will be accessible on the commission’s website for a period of thirty days. The commission also drew candidates’ attention to the scheme for public disclosure of marks and other information about non-recommended applicants. Additionally, UPSC stated, “Such non-recommended candidates may exercise their options while downloading their marks.”

The merit list contains individuals recommended for admission to the Officers Training Academy in Chennai, as well as those previously recommended for the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, the Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala, and the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course(s).
