The Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has announced the online registration of the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025. Candidates who are seeking admission to MBA courses can apply on the official website at xatonline.com from July 15. The registration deadline for XAT is set for the last week of November.
The application correction window will be opened from the last week of November to the first week of December. Admit cards will be available in the third week of December. The XAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on January 5. Candidates with a graduate-level degree from a recognised institute, of a minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline, are eligible to apply.
XAT 2025: steps to apply
Step 1. Visit the official website of XAT at xatonline.in.
Step 2. Create an account by clicking on the registration link. Provide details such as name, contact number, category, correspondence address, and email ID.
Step 3. Input your educational details and other information in the form.
Step 4. Upload your passport-size photograph and signature.
Step 5. Go through the filled details carefully. Modify if required and then click on the “Submit” button.
Step 6. Choose the XLRI program as per your choice. (Through XAT or GMAT)
Step 7. Then, select the XAT test city preference and click on the “Submit” option.
Step 8. Pay the application fees according to the program selected.
Step 9. Download and take a printout for your future reference.
As per the official notification, “XAT 2025 exam centers include Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram and many more, encompassing a total of 100+ test centers. XAT 2025: Application Fees
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 2,200. Those applying for XLRI programs must pay an extra Rs 200 per program. Payment can be made online or offline using credit/debit cards, net banking, or IMPS.
The XAT score is accepted by over 160 management institutes nationwide, including BIMTECH Birla Institute, Kalinga University, Flame University, LPU, IMI, and GITAM among others. Candidates who pass the exam can secure admission to these institutes, as well as to more than 89 other B-schools across India that recognise the XAT score for their admission process.
The XAT exam evaluates students’ aptitude, logical reasoning, language proficiency and decision-making skills. It spans a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Marks from the general knowledge and analytical essay writing (AEW) sections are specifically considered by XLRI for their final selection process.
