Serie A giants AC Milan are expected to make a move to rope in EPL champions Manchester United's skipper Nemanja Vidic, according to the Daily Mirror.
Vidic, 31, has struggled with injuries over the past couple of seasons but that, according to the report, won't stop Milan from going after the Red Devil's leader to partner Phhilippe Mexes as a central defender.
But it will be interesting to see if the new United manager David Moyes could be lured into any such deal as he tries to sink into the manager's seat at Old Trafford after Alex Ferguson retired.
The report, however, suggests that Milan believe the EPL champions are looking for a replacement for Vidic and have zeroed in on Benfica centre-back Ezequiel Garay. If that happens, it will put a serious question mark over Vidic featuring in the starting eleven on a regular basis - with with Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling already jostling for places.
