Starting XI

Chennaiyin FC: Edel Apoula (GK), Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Mailson, Bernard Mendy, Dhana, Thoi Singh, Harmanjot Khabra, Manuele Blasi, Elano (C), Jeje, John Stiven Mendoza Valencia.

Atletico de Kolkata: Amrinder (GK), Arnab (C), Tiri, Augustin Fernandes, Rino Anto, Jaime Gavilan, Arata Izumi, Mohan, Sameehg Doutie, Dejan Lekic, Iain Hume.

6:30pm: Atletico suffered their biggest defeat against Chennaiyin. Before the first leg, they had never lost to Chennaiyin. Last season, it was Chennaiyin who were 3-0 down after the first leg and they were really close to reaching the finals before Kerala scored in the very last minute of extra time. It’s pretty much deja vu as Atletico find themselves in the same situation that Chennaiyin faced last season.

6:25pm: Apoula Edel has 10 clean sheets now in ISL. With 6 clean sheets under his belt this season, he just needs one more to equal the record made by Jan Seda. When it comes to the ISL knock-out stages, Edel Apoula is arguably one of the finest performers in ISL history.

6:20pm: Will Mendoza and Co. wreak havoc once again and extend their 5-match winning streak to make it to their first ever ISL final or will the Royal Bengal Tigers turn it around? Whatever the outcome may be, we are in for a thrilling contest in the penultimate game of the season.

Chennaiyin FC have one foot in the final of the Indian Super League 2015 but past experience suggest Marco Materazzi's boys will not be able to drop guard in the reverse fixture against Atletico de Kolkata in Kolkata on Wednesday.

With FC Goa already into the finals, one of these two teams will be facing The Gaurs at Fatorda to challenge for the coveted ISL trophy.

The hosts have a game on their hands as they are behind by the 3 goals scored by Pelissari, Jeje and Mendoza in the first leg.
