New Delhi: David Beckham is in line to equal Bobby Moore's 108 caps in an England shirt.
Beckham has the chance to become England's second most capped player of all time having been named in the England squad for the friendly with Spain on 11 February.
'Golden Balls' will equal the man who captained England to World Cup glory in 1966, Bobby Moore, on 108 caps should he feature for the Three Lions against La Roja.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder was left out of the squad for England's last friendly against Germany last November, but has been recalled following his loan switch from LA Galaxy to Milan which may convince him to do all he can to make the move permanent.
Meanwhile, as reported earlier, Wayne Rooney has not been selected as he continues his recovery from a recent hamstring injury.
England manager Fabio Capello has named previously uncapped West Ham United striker Carlton Cole following an impressive run of form in the Premier League, which has seen him score five goals in his last six games.
