Legendary Diego Maradona is all set for a sensational return to competitive football at the age of 53, according to media reports.
Maradona, who is often refered as 'god' in his native Argentina, is said to be joining a fifth tier Argentine minnows Deportivo Riestra, the club owned by his lawyer and close friend.
Maradona was in the news when he was briefly named the 'spiritual coach' of the club in 2013 and if the reports are to be believed then when he was asked about the return he said 'yes'.
It is also reported that Riestra's squad member Victor More is ready to give his No. 10 jersey to the national hero. An official request has already been made to the Argentine FA to allow Maradona join the club.
He is expected to make his debut for the club on March 23.
