We have all faced the hassle of needing a passport-size photo at the last minute for important documents which can turn out to be more time consuming than expected. However, Blinkit is changing the game. This quick-commerce giant has launched a service for its customers in Delhi and Gurugram, offering passport-size photo delivery in just 10 minutes. Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared the exciting news on X, promising to make the process of getting the important photos quicker and easier than ever before.
“Ever needed passport-sized photos for visa documentation, admit cards or rent agreements at the last-minute? Starting today, Blinkit customers in Delhi and Gurugram can get passport photos delivered in 10 minutes!” Dhindsa wrote.
He also mentioned plans to gradually expand this photo delivery service to other cities.

In a follow-up tweet, Dhindsa elaborated on how customers can easily order passport-size photos through Blinkit. Customers can either upload an existing photo or take a new one using their phone. Once uploaded, Blinkit’s system automatically removes the background and resizes the image to fit the required dimensions. They can choose options of 8, 16 or 32 prints, which will be delivered in a sleek and neatly designed envelope. To give a glimpse of the service, Dhindsa also shared a photo of the envelope in his tweet.
“The process is super easy too – 1. Upload your photo or click one with your phone 2. We’ll automatically remove the background and crop your image to the right size! 3. Choose how many you want (8, 16 or 32 prints) and order. It’ll get delivered in this good looking envelope.”
