Napoli: Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has stated that star player Marek Hamsik is content to stay with the club having held discussions with the attacking midfielder over his future.
Hamsik revealed last month that a transfer to AC Milan would benefit his career and he's since been linked with a move to San Siro.
Nevertheless, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis refuses to let Hamsik leave and Mazzarri is confident that the Slovakia international will not cause any problems.
"I spoke to Hamsik and he knows the way I think. He'll give his all and is very motivated. He's happy to stay with Napoli," Mazzarri was quoted as saying, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 23-year-old, who joined Napoli from Brescia in the summer of 2007, has a contract until the summer of 2015 with the Champions League hopefuls.
