Robin Singh scored a dramatic late goal for Delhi Dynamos at the death to deny Mumbai City FC their first away victory as he cancelled Frederic Piquionne's strike in the 94th minute.
Talking to the reporters after the match, Mumbai City FC player-manager Nicoals Anelka said he was disappointed that his team conceded the late goal but hopes that his team will bounce back positively in the next match of the Indian Super League.
"We came here to win the match but conceding the goal in last minute is a disappointment for me and for the team as well. But it's part of football. It happens - everything can't happen the way I or the team want, Anelka said.
"I was happy with the way we managed to defend but unhappy it was a draw. We could have won. I won't say I was happy with the draw because when you concede in the last minute you are never happy," he added.
Mumbai are one of the best goal scoring teams in the tournament but today [Friday] they were happy to sit back and defend. When asked about whether it was a deliberate tactics - Anelka said: "Tactics was defensive as we wanted to play on counter and we scored in the same way. Tactics went well but unfortunately we can't win and conceded late on."
"The goal we conceded was a defensive mistake but it's a part of game. Can't do anything about it. But hopefully we will win the next game at home," he added.
With the international break, Mumbai will be missing few of their key players for the next few matches. Likes of Sunil Chhetri and goalkeeper Subrata Paul will bot be in Mumbai squad for next ISL game.
When asked how many matches duo will miss, Anelka said: "Sunil will miss two games and Subrata one game. But you will see more of me in the next few matches. You will see more of me after Chhetri goes for international break. I played last game as I wanted minutes. So it was a good work out. I was not fit enough but I will play next couple of matches."
