Manchester: Manchester United winger Nani is heading for crunch talks with club officials after becoming concerned over his first-team status, according to reports in The Sun.
The 24-year-old was in sparkling form for the Premier League winners last season, finishing top of the assists chart with 18 whilst also chipping in with 10 goals - though he was left out of the starting line-up for the Champions League final against Barcelona.
United signed Ashley Young from Aston Villa last week to add to Sir Alex Ferguson's current options on the wings, and his arrival has apparently unsettled Nani.
Young, 25, reportedly cost the Red Devils 20 million pounds, and is unlikely to be confined to the bench.
If Nani does decide his future lies away from Old Trafford there will be no shortage of potential suitors, with Serie A giants Inter and Juventus known to be admirers.
The United players will return to pre-season training on July 4, and it is thought Nani will then seek talks with Ferguson as he is keen to know how much he figures in the manager's plans after losing his place to Ji-Sung Park at the end of last season.
