Currently, in talks, he is exploring the possibility of taking on a lead role in the upcoming historical romantic-comedy drama Saeraenadae. Reports of this potential collaboration initially surfaced on January 22, suggesting that Yeo Jin Goo is in discussions to join the cast of Saeraenadae, as reported by Soompi. Yeo Jin Goo’s agency, J Full Entertainment, confirmed that Saeraenadae is one of the projects he has received an offer for, indicating ongoing considerations for his potential involvement.
Set against the backdrop of a virtual Joseon, Saeraenadae unfolds a romantic tale between a prince of Joseon and a young woman from a humble background. The prince, portrayed by Yeo Jin Goo if he accepts the role, aspires to find happiness beyond the confines of the country, while the young woman seeks success and joy within Joseon.

The character offered to Yeo Jin Goo is that of Park Yeong, a prince of Joseon who conceals his identity by posing as a reclusive unemployed individual. Notably, Jo Byeong Gyu was initially considered for the role but ultimately declined the offer, as per Soompi.
