London: Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt's dream of playing for Manchester United will be realised soon, as he is all set to feature in friend Rio Ferdinand's testimonial match.

Bolt is all set to make debut for United for the match against Seville at Old Trafford. According to a source, "Usain has finally got his wish and he'll be lining up alongside Rio.

"It should be quite a game. It will be fascinating to see if Usain's speed will be matched by his passing and ball control."

Earlier, the Jamaican had begged the former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to give him a chance and had said: "I know I could make a difference. I'd be the fastest in the team - but I can play as well."

However, his friend Ferdinand managed to convince Ferguson to give the 26-year-old a chance in United's friendy against Real Madrid this summer. But the plan didn't work out due to Ferguson's retirement at the end of last season and later replaced by David Moyes.

Ferdinand didn't give up and persuaded the new manager also to let Bolt play in his testimonial which is happening after more than a decade at Old Trafford.

The friendly is on August 9 and Bolt's selection will be announced by the club next week.
