Watch: The Undertaker Makes Stunning Appearance at Riyadh Season Cup Final, Cristiano Ronaldo's Reaction is Epic
While The Undertaker's appearance may have delighted Cristiano Ronaldo, he was left fuming with his own performance and the result as Al-Nassr succumbed to a 0-2 defeat.

Ahead of the Riyadh Season Cup final between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, WWE legend The Undertaker made a surprising appearance in all his glory at the venue delighting players and fans in equal measure.

The Undertaker, who retired from professional wrestling back in 2020, walked out of the tunnel with his iconic entrance music blaring at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Thursday.

With former pro wrestler lifting the trophy, the cameras cut to football icon Cristiano Ronaldo’s reaction as he couldn’t stop smiling watching The Undertaker lift the trophy.

While Ronaldo may have been all smiles before the kick-off but by the time the referee blew the final whistle to signal full time, he was left disappointed with his team Al-Nassr suffering a 0-2 defeat.

Sergej Milinlovic-Savic and Salem Al-Dawsari scored for Al-Hilal with Ronaldo failing to make any influence.

The Al-Nassr fans were irked by the performance of their star player and with the contest entering its final stages, they started chanting Lionel Messi’s name.

Ronaldo, in turn, urged them to be louder.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old Portuguese was named the world’s highest earning athlete for the year 2023. Having signed a mouth-watering contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr in January 2023,  the five-time Ballon d’Or winner earned a jaw-dropping  USD 275 million through last year.

As per Sportico, Ronaldo topped the list followed by golfer John Ram who pocketed USD 203 million followed by Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi at third with USD 130 million.  Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James is fourth on the list.

This was Ronaldo’s first appearance since recovering from a muscle issue that had forced Al-Nassr postpone their pre-season tour of China in January.

Ronaldo watched from the sidelines as his team defeated Messi’s Inter Miami 6-0 in a pre-season friendly earlier this month.

Currently, Al-Nassr are second in the Saudi Pro League, seven points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
