After smashing Cameroon in their last match, Croatian Striker Olic exuded confidence about winning their next clash against Mexico.
Recife: Croatia's veteran striker Ivica Olic expressed confidence about winning their next and final Group A clash against Mexico at the Arena Pernambuco.
After suffering a 1-3 loss against Brazil, Croatia came back strongly on Wednesday to win 4-0 over Cameroon. They must win over Mexico to secure a place in the last 16 of the World Cup, reports EFE.
"We had already played a good match against Brazil but now we've shown how strong we are. We need to win again and I believe that we can," the 34-year-old said.
Olic scored against Cameroon to become the oldest Croatian to score in a World Cup and etched his name in history as one of the players who scored in two World Cups with a gap of 12 years (2002 and 2014).
