Using a Computer
Go to https://www.roblox.com/ in a web browser. This is how you can play Roblox on your Windows or Mac computer. If you aren't already logged into your account, enter your username, email, or phone number and password to do so now. You can also create a new account.
Open a game page. Click the Discover tab at the top to browse the selection of popular games, such as Roblox's Among Us, Adopt Me!, and more. Clicking a game will redirect you to its page.
Click the play icon. This is the green button with a play on the right side of the page. Your browser will launch Roblox. A dialogue window will open.
Click Open Roblox. If you previously checked the box for Always allow www.roblox.com to open links of this type in the associated app, you may not see this option.
Wait for the update. If you have an update available, Roblox will automatically update itself. When it's finished, the game will load normally.
Using Android
Open the Google Play Store Android Google Play. You can find this on your home screen or in the app drawer.
Tap your profile icon. It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Tap Manage apps & device. This is towards the top of the menu. With some devices, you may need to tap Details under Updates available.
Tap Update next to Roblox. You may need to scroll down to find this. The app will begin updating. If you don't see Update, Roblox is already updated to its latest version.
Using iPhone or iPad
Open the App Store. This looks like a white A with a blue background. You can usually find this on your home screen or in the App Library.
Tap your Apple ID picture. This will be in the top-right corner of the screen. A pop-up menu will open.
Scroll down to view apps. You'll see a list of installed apps underneath Upcoming Automatic Updates.
Tap Update next to Roblox. When the app is finished updating, it will disappear from the list. If you don't see Update, Roblox is already updated to its latest version.
Troubleshooting
Disable any active VPN services. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) can interfere with your connection to Roblox's servers. Turn it off, and then try to update again.
Make sure you have a working internet connection. Whether you're using an ethernet cable or Wi-Fi, check if your network is online. You may be unable to update Roblox due to a faulty connection.
Restart your router. If the above methods didn't work, the problem may be your internet. Unplug the modem and router, wait at least two minutes, and then plug them back in.
